On March 4, 1964, petitioner in propria persona petitioned this court for a writ of habeas corpus, and on June 4, 1964, the attorney general responded by a memorandum. Counsel for petitioner was appointed by this court, and thereafter, counsel submitted a memorandum in support of petitioners petition, and the attorney general filed a reply thereto. On February 25, 1965, there was an oral argument and a formal hearing before this court, petitioner being present in person and represented by counsel, at which time petitioner testified, and records of the Arizona State Prison were introduced in evidence.
